There were just 6 rounds played in Regular Season of BSN and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Capitanes as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Capitanes edged bottom-ranked Piratas in Arecibo 86-84. It was a good game for Australian forward Jack McVeigh (203-1996, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Derrick Walton Jr (185-1995, college: Michigan) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. DR Congolese guard Emmanuel Mudiay (196-1996) replied with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for Quebradillas. Capitanes have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Quebradillas at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Quebradillas will play next round against Mayaguez trying to get back on the winning streak. Arecibo will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Aguada on the road.
An interesting game for Santeros (6-2) which hosted in Aguada 4th ranked Leones (4-7). Third ranked Santeros managed to get a 6-point victory 83-77. Dominican Rigoberto Mendoza (191-1992) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Giancarlo Rosado chipped in 24 points (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Jordan Murphy (200-1997, college: Minnesota) with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Leones' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aguada keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Caguas. Ponce at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Aguada will play against league's leader Arecibo at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ponce will play against San German and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Criollos (6-2) which played road game in Santurce against 3rd ranked Cangrejeros (4-4). Second ranked Criollos managed to get a 9-point victory 105-96. Moses Brown notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds by Malik Beasley did not help to save the game for Cangrejeros. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Caguas have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Aguada. Loser Cangrejeros dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. Caguas will meet Carolina (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Santurce will play against Guaynabo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
